What was the best and the worst of the first half of the season?
We have two different parts of first half of the season…more satisfied with preseason and first part of halfseason. We were competitive in all games except in Seville. Some games we won, same games we didnt close the game, those one possession games. Our roster is different now, and our opponent is time. But we work hard, and results will come
You said that there are no doubt: the target of Movistar Estudiantes is to stay in ACB League. What would be the key in order to get it?
To win enough games. It is not enough “to be close”. Every possession in important for us, 40 mins, every game. Focus, energy, effort. Easier to say then to do
How are the players for this game in Tenerife?
Minor problems, like every other team. It is “short week”, cause we had game on sunday and we fly to Canaries on friday. But it is what it is
What do you think about Iberostar Tenerife?
I have huge respect for their coach, offensive system they run, and their results. Their leaders have great euroleague/eurocup/ACB experience, and rest of team understand it and follow. On the other hand, they have good numbers in defense. So, tough opponent on both ends of the floor.
What would be the key of the game?
Follow game plan, match their energy, and play without any pressure
